Help Me Choose A New Wedding Date!

Ok girls, let me start off just by saying this has NOTHING to do with the SIL. After just getting our 1st oil bill of the winter (argh!)....we came to the conclusion that we're just not going to be able to afford our wedding as it is scheduled for now. I am sad but my priorities come first...2 kids and a mortgage def. take precedent.

Good news is that I just met with the GM at CB and we're actually able to save almost $5,000 if we switch our wedding date. We'll have the same room, same cocktail hour room and outdoor ceremony. The difference is that it would have to be a sat or sunday afternoon. Previously I had a friday evening. The minimum is now 135 instead of 150. So it's either:

August 30, 2008 or September 6, 2008.

I have to let him know by wed. FH doesn't care either way as long as we get married and I haven't spoken to any of my BM. Just curious about what date you think is best.
