I think #1. IMO, #2 is too much with your dress.

Thanks ladies. That's what I though.. # 2 was too much with my dress. I bought a veil with scattered rhinestones and I hate it so I'm searching elsewhere. I though maybe veil #2 was better then what I bought because it's only embellished on the edges. But I'm leaning more towards a plain fingertip veil.

I love number 2 - i think your dress should be the center of attention and the first veil is too much.

Are you definately going for fingertip? How about elbow length like in your dress pic? Either way, I like #1 :)

Well I like the look of fingertip better on me, not too long and not too short. I'm not sure why, just a personal preference . Maybe because I'm tall?

This is going to be a tough one girls!

Re: Help me choose a veil

I just went through the same exact thing yesterday. I'm still not sure if I chose right. I picked elbow, but wanted fingertip, but want to leave it on for the reception so didnt want it too long. Ugh I feel your pain. This wedding planning is STRESSFUL.. Either way, Im sure well be beautiful

Is it the length or the embellishments that are too much? Either way I would be wearing it in the back like #2, not on top of my head like #1.

I think #1 would go better with your dress (which by the way is so pretty!)

I know this is not what you want to hear, but...

i love the veil that is shown with your dress in the initial pic- i feel like the volume balances out the skirt really well.

Thanks for the advice, I love to hear any! I just don't like a poofy veil & poofy dress together.

I think the veil should be plain. You do not have a plain dress so the embellishments on the 2nd veil would take away from the dress. I think it will look great.

In my case I was so unsure so I went to Patchogue Floral Fantasyland and bought 4 different veils. They were not expensive but I didn't care. A veil is a veil, I dpn't even know were they are now so good thing I didn't spend a lot. I brought all of them with me to my fittings and then took pics. That is how I decided
