if you ladies could only do ONE TRIAL.... who would you choose and why
either mia from bridal L. ( for hair and makeup ) or oksana/jenn combo (hair and makeup as well)
please help me!!! both look sooooo good from what i hace seen on here.
i want half up sorta carmen electra wedding soft flowing but fullish hair...
and makeup natural..but honestly i like a 'BIT' glam bc darn it...i am a BRIDE lol
i need to choose with in a day or so

Honestly, you're a safe bet with either one of those vendors.
I'm biased b/c I'm using Mia, and she was right for me. I honestly think it's a personal preference to the style of the artist. Both are great, and can create whatever you want.
I would recm'd looking at trials from both of them, and doing an overall comparison.
Personally, I went with Mia b/c she was just more 'glam' for me...but I've seen Oksana create the same thing, so you're honestly good whichever way you go!
ETA: Oh...I also went with Mia b/c I needed extensions, and she doesn't charge for it...not sure if Jenn does...
did you have a hard time getting in contact and or staying in contact with mia?
ps..i would NEVER know those were extensions!!!!

Jenn does do extensions, but I think she charges. However, don't quote me on that. She put extensions in mine and it looked real.
I would check to see if they are even available before trying to decide, because I know Oksana and Jenn are almost booked up for this year already. I don't know how booked up Mia is.

I originally contacted her through the website, and got a response w/in 24 hours. She's really good with email, and longest I've gone w/out hearing from her was 3-4 days max.

I initially had a hard time contacting her - but once i got in touch with her, I was nothing but thrilled with her, and I'm biased because I booked her too - I thought she was just wonderful - and knew just what to do with my short hair!

I have my trial with mia tomorrow. Oksana was not available for my day.
Mia also does both hair and make-up. Which is very convenient for me.
The posts highly recommended both of them. I don't think you can go wrong with either one of them.

Not sure when you tried to contact Mia but I tried to email her after my trial and did not hear back from her for several days..she said her email had been on the fritz. Otherwise I've had no problem at all with her..she has given me her cell and home numbers.
As far as your decision, I don't think Oksana does airbrushing? If that matters to you that may help you decide.
I think both do beautiful work! Oksana seems to have a certain style as far as colors she uses, etc. I think it's beautiful and I considred using her, I don't mean this as a bad thing..I have seen more variety from mia but she has her own style as well.

I just booked Mia today after my trial.
I actually had problems getting in touch with Oksana and then found out she was not available. Mia called me back within hours of my email.
I guess it depends for both of them what their schedule looks like.
Yes, it is true that Oksana, as of today, does not do airbrush.

I would pick Mia or Oksana...not Jenn.
I personally ADORE Oksana! She did my make up for my wedding and she was/is such a sweetheart, but if you're teaming her with Jenn...totally go for Mia.
IMO what you're requesting for in hair...Mia can & will do it perfect. I've seen her trials and they're beautiful and most importantly...soft & natural.

ladies... i realllllllllllllly more than you know..... appreciate your opinions......... i think i am leaning towards mia bc she can do both and i only need my hair/makeup done..so its not like i need more hands to make the wedding day prep go quicker.
