Sandals in Antigua

We are so torn!

The St Lucia Grande is a little more expensive but is at the top of the peninsula and has a better beach.

The St Lucia Regency has a rockier beach but more restaurants and night life.

Sandals provides shuttle from all of the St Lucia resorts so technically you can visit all of them no matter which one you stay at.

The con with St Lucia is that the airport is a realllly far drive from the resorts (like over an hour). And NO I will not take a helicopter


Antigua--the resort has many restaurants and has recently had a lot of upgrades and is a short drive from the airport.

HELP!

Antigua is gorgeous, the property is so nice - but it can be pretty quiet and not a ton of nightlife.

The Regency's property is nicely laid out (especially with the bluffs) and it has more restaurants - however... while the beach is gorgeous, the water there is rough...and when i was there - no one was using it at all.
There is definately nice night life there.

If you are beachy people.. then definately the Grande - while the Grande does have nightlife, its not as 'big' as the Regency and you can always shuttle over for night life.

We're going to the Grande and will shuttle to the Regency for dinners and if we want a change of scenery.
