Help me choose - Wave Hill, Wainwright House or Museum of Natural History?

Help me choose - Wave Hill, Wainwright House or Museum of Natural History?

I've been venue shopping for a month now and am ready to make a decision. I can't find much info on personal experiences with these venues online (I saw 2 articles on the Knot but they didn't give me as much info as I needed) and I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences either attending or having their own wedding at those venues. If not, anything you've heard or any thoughts would be helpful.

We will have a 100-120 person wedding, so venue size is an important consideration as well.

Museum - considerations:
- restaurant associates is exclusive caterer - reviews?
- no ceremony site (nearby suggestions would be helpful)
- beautiful grounds for taking pictures & rose center is stunning
- will the lighting/decor be expensive?

Wainwright House - considerations:
- corner stone is exclusive caterer - reviews?
- ceremony setting is intimate and gorgeous
- tent is 60x60
- will lighting/decor be expensive?
- outdoor ceremony - would have to be in tent in case of inclement weather

About Wave Hill:
- great performances is exclusive caterer - reviews?
- beautiful ceremony, cocktail areas but don't love the reception hall - has anyone seen it 'dressed up'?

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!

OOOhhhh I would have LOVED to have my wedding at AMNH!!!!!!! Its very $$$ thought!!

central park is right across the street, you could do the ceremony there.

I never heard of the other two places, but my vote is for the museum!! DH and I had our first date there!

Thank you both... this is very helpful... and those reading, I'd appreciate any additional info I can get!

Just to clarify, the Museum reception area would be the Powerhouse, a loft-like area away from all exhibits, though with a lovely view of the Rose Center for Earth & Space (with giant lit-up 'planets,' LOL!) from across a little park.

And Wainwright House & Wave Hill both are right on the Hudson River.

Can you tell I like a view?

And what would a ceremony in a different location entail? E.g., transportation, ceremony fee, etc.? Is that a lot more? And what about time-wise? I hear that it goes by fast - I don't want to lose time anywhere....
