Re: help me cook.....
Here's one of my favorites... its easy chicken marsala (its from women's health mag) it says it takes half an hour but i cook the mushrooms a little slower so it usually takes me 45mins
3 Tbsp whole-wheat flour 3 Tbsp white flour 1/4 tsp white pepper 1 - 1 1/2 lb chicken cutlets 3 c sliced mushrooms 2 Tbsp thinly sliced shallots 1/2 c Marsala wine 1/2 c low-sodium chicken broth 2 Tbsp chopped parsley 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaf
1. In a shallow bowl, combine flours and pepper. Dredge chicken in mixture and set aside.
2. Lightly coat a large, nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium-high. Add chicken and sauté until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove cutlets to a plate and keep warm.
3. Add mushrooms and shallots to pan; stir for 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Add wine to pan. Reduce to a glaze, scraping any loose brown bits from bottom of pan.
5. Reduce heat and add broth, parsley, and thyme. Stir; cook until broth reduces by half.
6. Return chicken to pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

I second allrecipes.com! One of my favorite features is how you can have it search through only recipes that have ingredients that you like. For example, I hate hate HAAAAAAAATE cilantro. There's a feature where you can have it return to you the recipes in a category that do not have cilantro. Awesome.

Re: help me cook.....
here's another easy one. its for mac & cheese which i have an obsession with. my roommate used to beg me to make this.
I rarely use the whole noodles, never do the broccoli and i always use fatty cheese not the low-fat kind
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta for 4 minutes. Add frozen broccoli and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the pasta and broccoli are just tender, 4 to 5 minutes more. 2. Meanwhile, heat 1 1/2 cups milk in another large pot over medium-high heat until just simmering. Whisk the remaining 1/4 cup milk, flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl until combined. Add the flour mixture to the simmering milk; return to a simmer and cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture is thickened, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and whisk in Cheddar, Parmesan and mustard until the cheese is melted. 3. Drain the pasta and broccoli and add to the cheese sauce. Return to the heat and cook, stirring, over medium-low heat, until heated through, about 1 minute.
