#1...it's more formal, and I think the tea-length dresses tend to bring attention to the BM's height, if they vary in height--but that's just my thing, and then you also have to worry more about waht shoes they wear since they are visible then. HTH

I like #3 the best!!!!! The fun thing about a Summer wedding is that you can have your BM wear tea length dresses!!!!
