as part of my photog package, i'm getting 2 e-pics. we've done the 1st e-pic last Fall (i wanted the fall colors!) and we're down to 1 more e-pic. this doubles as a hair/make-up trial for me as well, since i booked a wedding package.
here's my dilemma, they gave me 2 options for my next e-pic. it can be an outdoor shoot (like we did last time) OR and studio shoot. i had a lot of fun doing the outdoor shoot and it looked more natural but here's the thing. since this doubles as a hair & make-up trial, if we go by the outdoor route, they could only do one hair & make-up. if we do the studio shoot, i could change my outfit 3x AND they could have me try 3 different hair & mu.
should i do the studio shoot then? it won't have the photojournalistic approach that i want but i could get more options for hair/mu. any thoughts?

as tempting as it would be for me to have 3 different outfits and make up, Id go with the outdoor...
I personally do not like the look/feel of studio pics- looks too staged to me
buttttttttttt since you already have epics...this might not matter to you...are you doing this more for the pics or more for the makeup??

im going w outdoor. just choose a different place. i know you'd like to change your outfits but I think studio pics look too stiff.

i'd def go with the outdoor. i'm not a huge fan of the indoor studio pics because they often look to posed and unnatural.

are you doing the 2nd round more for the hair/mu trials or for the pictures?

i would probably do the indoor shoot so i could try on the hair and makeup...
i get free e-pics with my photographer indoors for free and i am still taking my e-pics in may. the best of both worlds!

ITA. I prefer outdoor, but if you already have outdoor, I would concentrate more on the hair and makeup this time around, I rather be positive that I love my look on my wedding day by looking at different options, then e-pics. Just my opinion.

I would say since you did one outdoor already go for the multiple outfit/ hair trials and have it in studio
That way you benefit and have tons of different pictures as well
