Help me finalize invitation wording - with POLL

I wanted to finalize the wording on my invitations. Which do you think sounds better or looks better or do you like better, lol.

The difference between options 1 and 2 is in bold.

OPTION 1:
Together with their parents
Yesenia MIDDLE LAST
and
Luis MIDDLE LAST
request the honour of your presence
at the Nuptial Mass uniting them
in Holy Matrimony
Friday, the twelfth of October
Two thousand seven
at BLANK o'clock in the afternoon

LOCATION NAME
ADDRESS

OPTION 2:
Together with their parents
Yesenia MIDDLE LAST
and
Luis MIDDLE LAST
request the honour of your presence
at the Nuptial Mass uniting them
in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony
Friday, the twelfth of October
Two thousand seven
at BLANK o'clock in the afternoon

LOCATION NAME
ADDRESS

Thanks!!!

well, here's the thing... are you and FH very religious? are your parents? if you are I think that you may want to include n the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony... However, it is pretty much a given that being united in 'holy matrimony' is a sacrament, and you don't need to have it written...ultimatly it comes down to how do you want your invite to flow and which wording represent your marriage. Personally I perfer choice #1

i voted for #1 too. IMO, i would be thinking about those guests who aren't very religious... but that is just my personal take - your opinion is the most important!!

Thanks everyone!

I thought Sacrament of Holy Matrimony sounded nice and also looked a bit nicer because it takes up more space so it went well with the other wording.

But I do like it withough 'Sacrament of'... I didn't really realize that it sounded a bit redundant with Nuptial Mass being right before, so I'll probably just put 'in holy matrimony' aka option 1.

Thanks!

You can only put 'IN the Sacrament of HOly Matrimony' if you are receiving the Sacrament; If this is so then I would use that.

If you are not receiving the sacrament than word it with #2

Quick question - is it redundant to say 'the sacrament of' if the previous line already says 'Nuptial Mass'??? I always thought Nuptial Mass indicated the sacrament, but was not sure. Thanks!

I don't think it's redundant to say Nuptial Mass and Sacrament. Most people don't even know what a Nuptial Mass is and are more Familiar with the Term Sacrament.
