Hmmm.... how about some nice chandelier earrings and no necklace? You don't want to detract from the beautiful detail at the top.
If you do want to do a necklace... I would keep it very very simple.

I wish I had my camera to show the jewlery The necklace is small, round sits really close to the neck. Its got tiny round garnet stones that just barely hang down around teh neckalce. I cant explain it, but maybe a necklace would take away fromt he dress like you both said. Do you think marcasite chandelier earings go or should I go with something else?

try Macys-they had alot and i think they will match perfectly. Look in Express also.
