Help me find this cake please

Just recently i had seen this cake in someones album but i dont remember who. Here is a description of it: looks ivory in color and it was round i believe 3 layers and on the bottom of each layer it looks like a ring of crystals not too sure what it is.

If anyone knows what i am talking about please let me know. I thought the cake was beautiful.

thats a pretty simple cake and easily duplicated, you can go to any bakery that does fondant cakes and they can do it. If you want, you can look at Michelle doll and april reed, they make cakes similar to that, or maybe ron-ben israel

I have no idea who makes it, I believe I found it when I was doing a google search on something. You can print this out and show it to your baker or RH and they should be able to replicate it. Isnt it sooo pretty. My theme is white and crystally so this will go perfect blended with some other ideas.

I know its pretty plain and probably easy to duplicate but they way the crystals are on it i think it makes it look so elegant. I was thinking of havigng our initials as the cake topper with the sawrovski crystals but that may be just too much crystal going on then.

yes it does look elegant, sorry by saying its plain i meant its not a complicated design or shape that you really need to shop around for a baker who can duplicate that look...its a gorgeous cake, its simple but elegant and gorgeous

No offense taken by you saying it was plain because I agree but in my opinion it has an elegant look to it. I dont know if you have ever seen the NRC but alot of people think it is plain because it doesnt have chandeliers and all but thats what i love about it. To me its just sooo modern and not too much going on. This cake reminds me of the same thing.

Speaking of cakes do you guys know what flavors you are doing.

We love ice cream cake so we were thinking that and it can be done because they would have a mock cake for us and then have sheets in the back they would cut. (FH uncle is a banquet manager in the city so he told us this lol). We crossed off this idea though because we are having the vienese hour so we will have ice cream there. FH and I love rainbow cookies so we are going to see if they can make us a cake with those flavors. Maybe square shape 3-4 layers and then do the decoration of the plain but elegant cake lol.

ALso what do you guys think of the swaroski crystal monogram. Do you think it is too much with the crystals surrounding each layer?

I want one coconut and banana, not sure though if ill do this

also thinking about white chocolate ganache maybe with fresh berries

And i want a cake very similar to the cake Pink had at her wedding, also is a picture of a cake a couple did similar to pinks, well this couple basically copied the whole style of pinks wedding, tables and everything

yeah i was watching something on the food network, they were making a cake for a wedding and they used baileys cream, since FH heard that he was like OMG I want that

I love love this cake, yes it is simple but very elegant, I just love looking at it. You can add any design you want to this if you dont want it too too simple. Like I want to incorporate the above cake with this cake bec I love the design of it, or something like the cyrstal cake with the sec cake. I think I will have one initial on top of the cake in cyrstals, I dont think it will look too much, your cake is going to look hottttttt!!!!!!!!I love anything white with cyrstals, lolol







THat cyrstal cake will look so nice also with white roses between the layers.
