Does anyone know any yarn or knitting stores in suffolk? I am out in Sound Beach, and the closest place I know is Michaels on 347/454 in Commack area. Something further east would be nice.... any ideas???

if you don't mind ordering on-line, mary maxim has a ton of yarn.
Knitter's Magazine has a search engine that you can use to locate knittting shops if you're looking for good wool - it's at www.knittinguniverse.com - click on the tab labeled ATHENA.
Also, check Joanne Fabrics if you're looking for craft yarns or washable acrylics for baby items.

My mom goes to a place on old country road. It is right off of the 135. So you can take Nstate, SState or LIE there.
It is over by Central General hospital
