HELP ME I AM SOOO PARANOID WEDDING IS 3WKS AWAY

I am so worried about limos not showing up,
flowers looking crappy,
make-up hair people making me look horrible. etc.

I keep thinking everything is going to go wrong. I am soooo worried. FI tells me not to worry because these a professionals.....and everyone is paid......yada, yada, yada but still what can I do to ease the brain.

IF YOU THINK IT, IT WILL HAPPEN....THEREFORE THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS!! All will go PERFECTLY on your special day, and even if it doesn't, you'll still be married to your special guy!!!

I am going to be honest with you- I was the exact same way as you, worrying needlessly.

However I want to tell you I had a PERFECT wedding day- great weather, no major hassles all of my vendors were EARLY.

EVERYTHING went so well. I can kick myself now for worrying so much.

It really does work out in the end.

I am sure everything will be WONDEFUL!!

Just give your vendors a call to confirm and see how things are going. Maybe that will help ease your worries.

I tortured myself the same as you are doing and it was for nothing, everything was wonderful on our wedding day just like it will be wonderful for yours!!!!!!!

Have trust in your decisions and the vendors you selected!! They will be there and be outstanding!!!!!!

Also, just wanted to add that if you were really careful with your vendors which I am sure you were, and have had the appropriate conversations with them and again I am sure you have done this- things will go well.

I joke that I scared my vendors into doing a good job, with all of my threats.

I tell you LIW is a good name to throw around.

I told them that I participate on this board actively and alot of brides to be come on here for feedback, so if they do not comply with my wishes it may not be a good thing. I said this jokingly of course, but serious in meaning.

I definitely agree with calling the vendors to ease your nerves a bit. I am sure that things will go well.

You've done your reasearch, picked great vendors, just relax and trust them! Check in with them again if it makes your feel better. Honestly, all this worrying isn't doing you any good, it's just stressing you out.

Have no fear! Of course you're nervous! You've been planning and planning and you want everything to be perfect! You want everyone to see your hard work and to have a great time!!!! Trust me, they will. You will be glowing in the end!!!!

Prepare yourself now, that GOD forbit something drastic goes wrong- it will be fixed. I did this, and it was the best thing I could've told myself. I didn't care about a thing that day, what could I do? My MOH dress ripped and it was a Sunday- my problem? nope- sent her off w/ friends to have a relative sew her IN her dress!!!!

Your vendors will come through for you & you'll be happy w/ all your choices! Do call them if you haven't/or they haven't called you. You'll feel a lot better!

Last- here's what DH said to me 2 weeks before the wedding, and it stuck to me like white on rice.... he said,
'Michelle- nothing matters. Not the money, flowers, food- nothing. The only thing I care about is being your husband on October 19th. & as long as that happens, that day will be perfect' ..... keep that in mind and I promise you, you'll smile from ear to ear for the next 3 weeks!

Just try to remember that you are marrying your FH... that's what it's all about. Nothing else really matters... I constantly have wedding nightmares where everything is wrong or nothing is done, but in the end I am always just sublimely happy simply because I am marrying my best friend!! Just try to focus on what the day means, not on the vendors, flowers, and all that stuff.... you're day will be wonderful no matter what because at the end of the day, you'll be married to your sweetheart!!
