So FH and I decided we are going to donate to Doctors without Borders for favors which seemed fitting since we are both in our last year of medical school. but we also wanted to give something else small (not spend too much $ since we would rather give the majority of our budgetted $ for the donation).
what do you girls think of 2011 planners or mini wall calendars ? we are getting married on jan 2nd so i thought that was cute. Another idea is small mugs from ikea with a packet of hot cocoa in them.
which do you like better??

I like the hot chocolate idea better, I love things that I can eat/drink! But the planner idea is cute too!

I don't think you could go wrong with either the hot chocolate or planner. I think I'm leaning more towards the planner though. Both very cute ideas. Also love the idea of donating to a great cause.

Maybe you can alternate one mug with hot choc and one planner that way the person who wants to use the planner will take it and the other person will get the mug.

thanks! yeah i can't believe it's already been almost 4 yrs!! FH and I actually have to do a 5th year (preinternship year of electives) before we apply for the match since we went to school in Mexico...so technically i'm not applying for the match until next year. currently i'm doing my 4th year at Maimonides in Brooklyn. congrats on being done! where are you doing residency??
OMG, 5 years of med school....i would die lol. Resident life is...not better..but you get paid LOL. I'm an emergency medicine resident at st. Barnabas inthe bronx. A lot of my school's students did rotations at Maimo! I'm a NYCOM alumni!
