Help me out--what other costs vary Saturday night vs. Sunday twilight?

My FH and I are pretty close to booking at the New York Botanical Gardens and are deciding between a Saturday night and Sunday eve. The cost of the venue between the 2 options is not significantly different.

What other price differences should we factor in? Have people got varying quotes from bands/florists/photographers/DOCs for Saturday nights vs. Sundays?

Our photographer gave us a 20% discount for a Friday wedding.

I've never even heard of vendors giving different prices for different days of the week. I don't think you should have any issues with that.

The prices should be the same. The only problem you might have is that vendors (dj's, photographers, docs) are more likely to already be booked for a Saturday night wedding so it might make it a little difficult to find since so many brides have saturday night weddings and book these vendors way in advance.

The biggest price difference shouldbe with your venue so if the venue price doesn't vary much, go with the day you really want!!

Thanks guys! I guess we expected Saturday would be significantly more expensive than a Sunday, I think we are just surprised the costs are so similar! Especially if people will be traveling, Saturday night would be ideal. I can't wait to book something!
