I think it looks more formal if you spell out the state and then center the zip right below the state.

We spelled out the states. It is more formal. I put the zip on the same line but I thought about putting it on a seperate line.

Initial the states and have the zip code on the same line...you should probably make this into a poll..

This is just going to drive you crazy but ....

I would just initial the states and put the zip on the same line.

omg, i should have put this in a poll. but i think i like the way it looks with it spelled out , and zip on bottom.
reason being... im doing clear labels, and it looks better.

Agreed. Etiquette dictates that not only should the state be spelled out but there should be no abbreviations
example:
Apartment not Apt.
Avenue not Ave.
Jennifer not Jenny, Jen, etc.

Re: help me please!!!!

I spelled out the states on mine and it worked fine. If you want I could email you my template.

FM me your email address

edit-- i printed them on the envelope themself... if you are using labels you might need to make the font smaller for that line...

Spell everything out. Its a wedding invitation, it should be formal.

Re: help me please!!!!

Everything gets spelled out: the state and the street # (so 10 is spelled out as Ten).

I've seen the zip put on the same line as the city and state, but i have also seen the zip centered on the line below the city and state. up to you on that score, but i would definitely spell out the state. If the house/street number is 1 or 2 digits in length, we are spelling it out; if its 3 or more, we are writing the digits themselves.
