Help me please....

I found out the Fh's aunt is more or less not making my dress for what reason we have no idea. FMIL said she was snotty on the phone and all, soo.....
I need to know if any past and present brides that have purchased gowns, did you find anything under 1,000.
I need to find one no more then 1,000 and then alterations but, that is the highest I can go without going over, over the budget.
Please let me knoe where you went and who the designer was.

You can get a lot of Maggies for under $1,000 and her dresses are beautiful!! My Maggie was originally $1400 on sale for $900! But I DO NOT recommend where I got it!! TheySUCK!!!

You can look for Private Label gowns..they have alotttt that are under 1000. I bought mine from Burtons Bridal for $850! and its sooooooo gorgeous

davids bridal during a sale ( i think they do a big one in november) you can get a dress for like 400-500.
its worth a shot to check it out. their dresses are reasonably priced even without a sale. chec their website for pricing

Try My Daughter's Wedding III in Great Neck and tell them what your budget is...if you don't have your heart set on a specific designer, you can find a nice dress for that price

I'm not going to say how inexpensive my dress was...but it was VERY inexpensive. I got it at David's Bridal at a sale.

you can absolutely find dresses in that price range. I suggest going to RK bridal they have great prices and an extensive selection.

Defanately look into the bridal building in Manhattan. It's has all designer dresses that sell to retailers but on certin days they are open to the public & they have the lowest prices I've seen anywhere. They even had nice designer dresses for $100 & $200. You have to go from floor to floor to look in all the rooms some are more expensive but to me it's the best deal out there.
I think they are open on Sat.s from 10 - 3pm

There are tons under $1k. Try Mori Lee, Maggie, Eden Bridals, Alfred Angelo for starters. Also if you know someone that can alter the gown for you check out netbride.com.
