Help me recreate this CP!

Help me recreate this CP!

How do you think this is done...if you see in the middle, there is like a floating candle or pillar or something....

I love the idea of having a candle in the middle of my CP, and I also love the idea of having say three containers that 'recreate' a big full tulip CP.

How would this be done? A really tall glass vase filled with water and a floating candle, surrounded by three cylanders of tulips?

Or do you think they would do something like this in one big vase? Help!

I'll respond.. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to make it.. I'm crafty and all.. but it's kinda stumping me. I think your best bet is to recreate using a tall cylinder with the floater and 3 or 4 smaller cylinders filled with the tulips... I'm still thinking though. i'm going to bring the pic to our floral designer at work tomorrow.. that is if we have work! Who am i kidding.. Michaels never closes! lol

Thank you girls, now I feel loved.

Kiddo - that's what I was thinking... a realllllly tall cylinder with either a huge pillar or floater and then the 3 or 4 smaller ones. I almost think that they took a huge container and put the cylinder inside...see how there is another floating candle in a cylindar there? but i am more into the smaller arrangements (satisfy's my desire to have people take flowers home).

I'll bring with me to my floral appts. Does anyone want some of my 30 tables because they are going to KILL ME!

I know there are these glass vases, that when you put the four together they form a circle. But then you could put them around a tall cylinder with the candle.. I'm going to have to check this out. Now you have my interest! I love an interesting CP!

Re: Help me recreate this CP!

So....I've been snooping around websites and I think I have one way to make it....tho, i'm not sure it would create the same 'fullness' that is here.

I found round cylinders at varying heights. You could put one in the center of the table that would be about 12 inches high. Fill with water and drop a floater in there. Then place four cylinders of 7 inches around and cut tulips so that they reach about 10 inches... the extra two inches would allow for the 'floater' to be seen.

I have about half of the supplies at home. I'll test it out and let you know.

I'm actually thinking that four square squat vases might work better...if you could make sure that they don't fall over.

The other idea I had was it could be done with one big square vase and then place the tall cylinder in the middle (securing with floral foam) and then have all the tulips around it. But I love breakaways soooo much!

oh wait. i just realized how else i could do this.

four square or round cylinder vases with the tulips and then instead of a floater, you could use one of those tall stands for pillars....i'll have to search out a pic.

That way, you can get the four arrangements close together becasue the stand is only an inch or so thick....

I'll post as soon as I find it!

Eureka~
