Help me think of a way..

Help me think of a way..

After we are married FH & I will have the exact same initials.

JNF

I want to somehow incorporate this in the wedding.

I already bought a cake topper so I can't do it on that.

I already bought invitations and I don't want to change them.

So what is a creative cute way to incorporate that somehow. Think outside the box - I'm already getting personalized menus and such through the RH so I don't want to spend extra money on it.

I was thinking if we get ice sculptures we'll do the initials but I kinda want something prettier for an ice sculpture.

Since you mention the ice sculpture, I was thinking that the RH will probably sculpt that into the melon and such at your cocktail hour - it's worth asking about!

I'm not sure if I'm nerdy enough for that.. I KNOW FH is.

I think I'm going to have to evaluate that one before making a decision.. because I know if I tell FH he's going to want to do that lol.

haha My FH and I have the same initials too. I didn't even think about doing something like that. Though in all our pools for football and stuff I do the squared thing... We are doing it on our food menu because we don't like the ones that come from the place. (well i don't)

How about a monogram that is seen on your place cards, menus, ceremony programs, etc. It gives it an element of romance during your wedding. (I got this from David Tutera).

I have monograms on EVERYTHING! But something that wasn't mentioned is on your favor tags. If you incorporate it on all paper items, then it looks cohesive. Also, what about cocktail napkins too?

okay not related but do you have a larger picture of that cake you have as your icon? I want to see it lol and it's buggin me. I need to find my glasses.

Only other thing I thought of...you know how some couples make signature drinks to go along with the 'something blue' poem and put a pretty menu of the 4 drinks at the bar? You could do 3 signature drinks that start with each letter of your initials, and make a cool menu that shows it like that so people get it.

Ahhh yeah, if they're butler style, then prob not - I was thinking you could swing it at the bar if your signs had like a larger J (and a smaller) ade Martini. Or even J is for Jade Martini, etc.....just something to visually dress it up.

You can create a custom wall or mirror decal...

I've never been to Flowerfield, so I don't know the set up there. But at the Woodlands, when you first walk in, there is a fireplace with a mirror on top of it. Our wedding planner suggested that we put a decal (of our monogram) on the mirror. Our guests will see it when they first walk in.

You can custom decals made up pretty cheap ($10) ... I saw a few vendors do it on ebay.
