happy days

He had come over to pick me up for our date and as I was getting ready, he looked me over and told me I was wearing the wrong jewelry. He took my left hand, took off the rings i was wearing and got on one knee. He took the engagement ring out of his pocket and placed it on my finger, got down on one knee, told me that he couldn't picture the rest of his life without me. I mumbled a yes and started to cry.

After I said yes, he took my hand and led me to the car. We then went to the restaurant where he had made the reservations and enjoyed a nice meal as a newly engaged couple.

On the way to the restaurant he said that he had originally wanted to propose in the restaurant but decided to propose in my bedroom because it was more intimate and he couldn't wait til later.

this november we'll be together for 7 years.
