Help me with a DJ!!

what DJ is everyone using?? i am on a budget and i have been getting quotes of like 1700..is that good?? any suggestions??

im getting a DJ and an MC for around $1750... they have a cheaper package with just a DJ...

We booked Absolute Entertainment with a DJ and MC for $1250. We got that $$$ last year so it could have gone up but it will still be less than what you were quoted.

I used Vinny from High Voltage and he was fantastic. He only charged $600 too!

$600. Was that just for the dj or mc also? Did you have them for the reception only or the cocktail hour also?

We're using Absolute also.. DJ and MC are $1295, and then I'm also getting keyboard ceremony music for an additional $250 - total is $1,545.

ETA - We booked them in august. Their website will have up to date prices Absolute

We are using Chris from Party Connections...he is very willing to work w/ your budget. He has a great setup/show room and a great personality.

We didin't have him for the cocktail hour. The $600 covered 7pm until 11am. He stayed and extra 2 hours and didn't charge us much more. He came with an assistant but he was the MC. He was so great, my friend hired him for her wedding!

I am using Variety Music, Ray as the Dj and MC (just one person) for 5 hours (cocktail hour and 4 hr reception) and he is charging $699 but that is a Friday Night.

We are renewing our vows for our anniversary and having the wedding we never got to have. We are using FM Entertainment and for an 'anniversary party' they want $450 for four hours. They have very good rates. I think they're weddings are under $1000 so you should check them out. They're a LIW Vendor. Good luck
