Okay so I have pretty long hair right now, it's about half way down my back and I want to go get it cut - not short but just shaped, trimmed, maybe re-layered. I definitely want to keep the length but I'd to try a different style if that makes sense. I was thinking about going for that swept to the side kinda bang look.
I'd REALLY appreciate if you guys could post some pics of long hair styles! TIA

Girls this time I PROMISE to only get a trim! Matilde don't worry I won't do anything drastic cause I'm set on having beautiful loooooooong locks for the wedding! If it cut it really short it there's not enough time for it to grow really long!

I'm guilty of doing that all the time also...just a little trim, then I get something drastic OR just a few highlights and I come out with almost black hair.
So I'm calling your bluff until I see the not so drastic trim and shape!

Lori - i DEFINITELY think you should cut it!!!! You need to trim and re-shape your hair anyway to allow it to grow. I don't see why a trim or shape will do any harm. Plus you still have about a year and a half to let it grow. I'd say go for it!!

ETA: btw - no one should ever listen to me for hair advice. . . i haven't gotten a trim in over a year! shhhh. . . i am cheapo and i want my hair to grow super long - i am going in a few weeks but only bc i am going to italy

Heyy!! I agree --definitely trim it so it looks healthy and grows faster...im actually going to trim mine in the next week too......i feel the same way i want to grow it real long for the wedding...but its always nice to cut off the dead ends and change the style a lil....but we're trusting you...NO DRASTIC CUTS!! LOL
