Help me with my favor poem
So our wedding day is also the end of day light savings....so everyone gets an extra hour that night!
I thought it would be cute to go with that theme for our favor. We are getting an egg timer and we'd like to attach the a poem about 'giving the gift of time' This is what I came up with but i don't think it's very good. Do you like all of it, some of it, none of it? Do you have suggestions of other lines to add in? Does it flow well? HELP!
Today we begin the rest of our life
Together forever as husband and wife
Thank you for being there from the start
You all have a special place in our heart
We enjoyed watching you dance and dine
Now we’d like to give the gift of time
Get home safe and turn the locks
Please don’t forget to set back the clocks
