Help me with my wedding website?

We sent our save the dates out yesterday and they have our wedding website on them.
BUT WE FORGOT TO MAKE THE WEBSITE!!



I made a holder page but it's really bad so now i'm spending today sprucing it up a bit.
People keep telling us to have a FAQ section where we can include our registry info.
What other questions would you include in that area?

We have a seperate page on the site for hotel and travel info, a seperate page for photos of us and our engagement/how we met stories, and a seperate page for ceremony/reception location info and directions.

If you have a website or will have one, what kind of information are you putting on it? Please help me out, people should be receiving their std's tomorrow!!

Answer: Ceremony starts at 6:30 but hospitality starts at 6:00

We're not doing a hospitality because the ceremony is at a church and the reception is at a differant venue.

when it gets closer i'm going to put more info like 'what can i do between the ceremony and the reception?' b/c we have a large break

I like the honeymoon part, when we finalize the booking i'll def add that.

Yea its good to launch right now. I have a wedding website i made and so far it has our story, pictures, the wedding party, information regarding teh wedding, the entire menu and pics of the catering hall and then registry info.

Deff. a great asset when you have family that you don't talk to daily. Put it on everything like save the dates or notes to people you are inviting. I am doing it on the hotel info card also in the invitations to visit the website for details over teh weekend of our wedding.

We'll be adding out story and our engagment pictures, but the photos wont be done untill October.

I was thinking of putting pictures of the venue and the menu but then i realized, since it's the first wedding my family has had there (and i come from a HUGE extended Irish family) i want a lot of it to be a surprise.
Does that sound silly?

Also, I didnt put too many photos of us because we might have a slide show at the reception, it won't be a big one, it'll be on our guest table on a portable dvd player... but still...


Thanks for the tip about the hotel info card, i wouldnt have thought to do that and it's a great idea.

OMG i can't spell at all so i had someone check it for me and they said it was all perfect. I was so nervous about that. Those jerks probably knew all along that there were mistakes!

I can't put the ceremony or RH location yet because I have a stalker. Literally... but my family is aware of this, so when it's much closer to the wedding I'll put the info up, i just gotta talk to the hall and the church first about cancellation policies and what not.
