FH and I had another hotel (on LI) booked originally for our wedding night but we have decided that we want to stay in Manhattan that night at a really nice hotel. Now my question is: Which one?
The Plaza Waldorf Astoria Four Seasons
any other suggestions?
anyone have any advice or info?

I've been to the Ritz-Carlton and it is gorgeous inside and the next day brunch they offer is incredible!

Congratulations! Your wedding is around the corner!
We got married in March and stayed 2 nights at the Plaza before we left for our honeymoon. It was amazing and we actually got very fortunate because we were upgraded when we got there - maybe because we strolled in with my wedding dress and he in his tux - they treated us very well - upgraded us to an amazing room with a jacuzzi - the room had about 50 towels in it - unbelieveable view and they gave us complimentary Champagne and strawberries - I haven't been to the other hotels - but the Plaza is definitely one I recommend - its very classy and the location is great !! I would go back in a heartbeat....

I've stayed at Waldorf and Plaza and loved them both... Plaza probably a little more romantic, be wary of the horse poop! Other than that, it's pretty amazing...

Definitely the Plaza!! I'm biased though because that's where I got engaged. They were great and since they knew ahead of time that he was proposing, they upgraded us to a huge suite overlooking the park. It's incredible there!
