FH is moving into his/our new apartment starting this weekend. We're really excited, but we've never lived anywhere but with out parents (and college), and we have no idea what we need to find out or know. What are some things you need to do/know/find out before and shortly after moving in? Please help. We're moving to the franklin square area, so any help with that area would be greatly appreciated.
Alos, does anyone know of any great, inexpensive movers?

Call your utilities and started up - research options and what works for you.
Go in and relax, clean and get to know the place before making permanent decisions.
Check out local restaurants and things you like to do!
Set up mail to be forwarded.

we are in the same situation.. both moving from our parents houses.... what we've been doing is starting to go out and eat at the places around our house, find out whats the good pizza place and stuff..
