It's 102.5 I've been giving him Tylenol but it barely brings it down. And then it goes back up again. Tell me this is normal I'm losing it!!!! Andrea

Kids can run fevers for a few days, now it would be considered 'low' so the fact that it is coming down is a good sign. How is his affect? If you could not break a high fever for 3 or more (over 102.5) days I would ne concerned, bring him in tomorrow just so you can have a less anxious weekend.

when my daughter had her first fever I gave her motrin if that don't help ask the doctor if you can do both motrin and tylenol. Not at the same time I know you have to wait like an hour before giving the other don't remember what that was though. Considering doctors consider that a low grade fever they may tell you not to do it I remember my nieve was on both at one time she had a very high fever thats the only reason why I'm suggesting it. Also there are suppositories that help bring down the fever faster as well.
