HELP!!!! My green candle stained my new dining room table!!!

OMG...does anyone know if a candle stain can be removed from it? It's not wax...it's the green color of the candle that seems to have leaked into the wood.

I've already tried using a cleaner with bleach (which thankfully did not ruin the table further).

What about calling the candle company or the manufacturer of the table?

These are good ideas that I haven't thought of doing...I'm definitely going to try. I'm sooooo mad...this table is not even 2 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened to me last week, the candle melted and the wax got on the table and stained it, then a candle sat on my night table, not buring and it stained the night table, which is BRAND New..uggh...any other cleaning suggestions would be great!

Thank you!

Sandra...have you tried the white toothpaste and baking soda trick?

I sent an email to a cleaning company and they also said to use cheap white toothpaste...rub it in with your finger and let it sit for 5 mins or so...you may also have to reapply and do it again.

I'm going to try this one more time with just the toothpaste and let it sit for a while...

Hopefully this will work for us!!! Good Luck!!!!
