HELP MY WEDDING IS TOMORROW

I am getting married at a church. I know you should not tip the preist but what about the wedding director ...the person who tells you when to walk and where and who orchestrates the weddin g???

Do we tip him?

I would think the church would tell you ahead of time. Mine told us we had to give something to the sexton (who would clean the church before and after).

I just asked what the usually was and that is what we gave

the person who is telling our BP where and when to walk is the limp driver. I am not tipping anyone in the chruch except the alter boys.

I was told the altar boys were the only ones that we needed to take care of!

the fee for the church includes the other people who help out.. didn't think of tipping them!

we didn't tip anyone - but we just had a ceremony, not a mass.

My Best friend got married in a church last year- and they told her exactly who to tip. Don't worry.

Tipping the church coordinator is optional. We were told to tip the alter boy/girl $10 each which we did. Sort of tacky that they asked us to do so personally. We gave a TON of money already for the church itself and the musician and we had brought in our own priest ... so worth it. For our close friends and family who came to our service said it was one of the most moving and personal services. So many people were crying and laughing! Even my Jewish girlfriend said she LOVED it! Tee hee!
