OK, I'm kind of new to LIW, but hello fellow bridies! I've been asked to stop visiting new halls as I've dragged FI to just about everyone of them. This is the narrowed down list after all:
Flowerfield's(most exp) Land's End Vineyard Caterers North RitzCLUB(most affordable)
All are beautiful, some a little less exp.... but if anyone has any reviews advice or comments on any of them it would totally help! NRC is new to me, so if anyone has been to weddings there please share opinions!!!

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
Well of course Flowerfield is my favorite on there but all are great choices!!!!
Our second choice was North Ritz Club which we loved but the cocktail hour room was not big enough for us. That was our only negative

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
We went to a wedding there about two years ago. We loved it! The food, especially the cocktail hour was to die for. We actually looked at it for our own wedding, but decided against it because of the outdoor chapel and the guarentee number. But a wedding there is great.

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
MY friend had her wedding at the NRC this past Valentine's Day. Yes, the cocktail hour is outrageous and it is a beautiful place. My only complaint was that the bathroom was downstairs... not good for elderly and or handicapped guest if you have any unless they have an elevator which I didn't see.
I particularly liked the service at the NRC... she had the room filled with tables, the wait staff just descended upon the room and everyone was served within a max of ten minutes. That matters.

I have been to a wedding at Vineyard's and Lands End. They were both good, but Lands End was beautiful. The ferry from fire island docks right next to were your cocktail hour is, and everyone waves to each other. They great you with frozen drinks as you walk up to the hall. The dance floor is beautiful, and a tip for you if you pick this place, get lots of candles and high flower centerpieces. Also the pictures you can take by the water are great, and also a great photo spot is the balcony in the bridal sweet.( I saw my cousins wedding album) The food is great also. I found the vineyards dance floor to be small. Also Flower fields was nice when I went their to look but I was not impressed enough for the price. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

My reception was at Flowerfield, it was the most romantic place for a wedding!

The NRC does have an elevator, by the bar in the cocktail room.
I am biased. I love NRC! Flowerfield was ourfirst choice, but way to expensive for the amount of people we wanted. NRC fit perfectly into our budget. We love the one wedding at a time feel and the service so far has been impeccable.

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
Thanks for all the reviews- it totally helps hearing what others have experienced. It's like I wish I could combine the beach setting of Land's End with the simple sophistication of Flowerfield's and the pricing at NRC(not to mention great service). Hopefully it will just come to me...soon!

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
Hi! I had the same concern about the NRC but they showed us a bathroom right on the main floor in the small room by the bar...it kind of blends into the room becasue it's a flat door of the same color wood, but has a sign on it!

I don't think you can go wrong with ANY of those places! Now you just have to address budget, location, decor, and size issues! Great choices -- good luck!

Vineyard Caterers was our first choice, but it was a bit over our budget. I really loved it there.
Land's end was also high on our list!

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
Ok, I obviously picked Flowerfield. However Land's End was my runner up.
All I can tell you, is that FF was worth every penny. DH and I saved up and paid ourselves and it was incredible. Af FF you are treated so well, as are your guests. The pay such close attention to each detail. The food is amazing, the grounds and ballroom are incredible. I just knew I had to have my wedding there.
If you have any specific questions let me know. I also went to a Land's End wedding which was wonderful. The only thing I noticed was that there was a lot less food at the Land's End Cocktail hour.

Re: HELP! Narrowed down to 3 halls!
Definitly Land's End or Flowerfield!!!! If money and guarantees are an issue go with Land's End since Flowerfield is a bit more. Lovin Oven does an awsome job!!!!!! They also own Vanderbilt Mansion which is a bit cheaper but still beautiful, if you like the victorian look. I have never been to a wedding at the other two but my friend is getting married at the Vineyards in December. The owners of the Vinyards also own the meditteranean manor.

The only thing I noticed was that there was a lot less food at the Land's End Cocktail hour.
That is strange because they have the same exact menu options. If there was less food the people amay not have had any upgrades which add more stations.
