I need to find a reasonable florist. We were in to see Burton's, left there without putting a deposit down and the next day, someone came in and booked it. They had the best prices around. Anyone know of reasonable florists, I have been to Pedestals....please help! I need to stay within budget! Help! I need a florist for Aqueboque, NY at the Vineyard Caterers June 14, 08

Yes, but they had 1 that day and then booked a second in 5 towns area for the same time that I would need them at my hall. It originally worked out he had the one in a vineyard not far from mine, but then 5 towns came in. It was me, I was foolish, should've left a deposit. Now I am scrambling for another florist that can do it for his price. I just dont know how he can do it for less than double of what others wanted!!! I want to cry right about now! The cp's are calla lillies, white hydrangeas, stock, dendrobium orchids, curly willow and snap dragons. All in a tall vase, with more dendrobs floating inside, with 3 hanging crystal candles. Book's are all red calla lillies (mini), the bridesmaids have white mini calla's and the groom has red and the groomsmen white. Need 23 cp's, 1 bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids, 1 groom, 6 groomsmen, 5 corsages for females, bout's for 3 men, 3 flower girl boo-k's of mini red calla's and one red calla bout for ring bearer. The price I was quoted with the florist I just missed was $3500, can you meet or beat this price? i will try and find a pic

Definately try Designs By Rose- they are AWESOME and will travel to you! I used them for my wedding and the floral arrangements and bo-k's were so beautiful!
Both Rose and Doris are such a pleasure to work with you to create exactly the look you want within your budget.
My friend was married at The Vineyards last September and she used them as well and her flowers were also stunning!
Keyth at Lovin Oven Floral Designs does amazing work!

I went to Flowers by Rosemarie, she does it out of her house in Sayville, and she gave me a GREAT price, better than anywhere else. Her number is 567-6995.

Thats my hall too! I am using Rambling Rose in Sayville. The owner, Pat, was so helpful with me when I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted. She also worked with me to stay within budget. I've seen her work at another wedding and the flowers were very well done. Good luck!

Check out Homeside Florist in Riverhead. It's a few miles before VC on the right hand side. I'm getting married there too, but I went with Burton's. The price at Homeside wasn't bad.

Try Sugar Magnolias. I'm not sure about their prices in comparison to others, but the flowers are amazing. Almost all the girls at work used her for their weddings. They are located in Stonybrook, I believe. I wanted to use them, but unfortunately when I called it turns out she couldn't do my wedding b/c she was doing an out of state wedding that day and therefore could only do one wedding for the day.

Try Laurie of LA Blossom....she's in Huntington & has done weddings at many eastern LI locations...
You should try Colonial Flower Shop in Bellmore. They quoted us a very good price, and they seem to reallt know what they are doing.

Linea at With All My Heart, they are located in the Inn at East Wind. She is wonderful and did my sisters and my friends wedding. SHe is so willing to work with you and does an amazing job and is reliable. Check her out I promise you won't be disappointed!
