Does anyone know the wine poem that is similar to the candle poem that they do at showers? or even the candle poem and i can change things around a little bit... I NEED IT ASAP if you ladies could help I would love ya'll forever!!!!

The basket before you is filled with wine, To accompany you & (groom) when the two of you dine.
Each bottle represents an event in your life, That will happen after you become husband & wife!
Your 1st home, 1st anniversary & 1st baby to name a few, Pop-open the “matching” bottle and make a toast to you!

I have: wedding night 1st dinner party valentines day first fight first anniversary christmas eve
any other suggestions for poems or topics would be great!!!!

I got the basket of candles at my shower, I know one is for the first night in our first house and another is for the night we bring home our first child.

First home (if they don't own their own home yet) First child (you can get them a bottle of spakling cidar... it's a great touch... everyone loves it!) First New Year's
Also, if you're crafty and have some time you can make coasters. It was such a hit. What you do is if you can get your hands on some of their engagement photos or pics of the two of them you 'modge podge' them onto ceramic tiles. It looks so great. I'll FM you pics of them if you're interested so you can get an idea of what they look like.
