There is a lattice screen that my hotel uses behind the bride and groom to hide the doors that lead out of the hall. Unfortunately there are doors all around the room so probably no matter where I sit there will be doors behind me so that hotel puts up this screen. I think it doesnt go with the decor and I want to do something either to it (not permanent) or instead. Any advice???
You can get some cheap coordinating fabric at like fabric bonanza or wall mart and drape it nicely behind you. Like a curtain even.

I was thinking that but how can i drape it unless I hang it on the screen cause I don tknow how I would attach it to the wall.

what about potted trees? Some halls have them sitting around to block off doorways. or they also sell those screens that you can put pictures in (8x10's)

THats a thought.....any more ideas. Perhaps trees with twinkle lights if thats possible.

about hanging the fabric.. this may be time consuming.. but totally doable. just sew in some round wholes to the fabric (grommets i believe they're called?) and bring the fabric up and over the lattice and then take some hooks and hook them onto the back of the lattice and the fabric.. that way you won't see them.
did that make any sense?
it would just probably take a lot of time, patience, and sewing.

you know what else you can do-- you can have your florist make you something like a chuppah to put behind or over you..
See becks23's post today about chuppah pics to get a sense of what they look like-- they can be fabric, or flowers and greens, etc.

What if you bought one of those picture screens. You could put pictures of you and FH, your parents, your families, etc... And then you could use it in your new home.

Some people like tulle...you could gather it in the middle and put a bunch of flowers...you would only see about half of the screen..
