HELP!!! Need Dress ASAP!!!
I am getting married in August so I'll be needing a dress very soon. I would like to go to a bridal shop that has a large selection so that I can try a lot of different styles and a variety of designers. Does Flowerama in Elmont have a good selection? Do they keep designer names in dresses? Also, does anyone have any experience with Bridal Boutique in Manhasset or Bridal Coutere in Manhasset? Thank you!

Macy's Bridal is Flowerama as well. You don't necessarily need to go to the Elmont location. The Macy's Bridal at their Manhasset store has a very good selection from what I am told. I believe they do carry designer dresses. If you really want to be able to go in and have the selection right there - David's Bridal has a few locations and my sister in law bought hers off the rack with minor alterations. Good luck.

I was in the same position. I only decided to get married last month, and the wedidng is July 2nd of this year. The folks at Bonaventure Bridal on Franklin Avenue in Garden City were very gracious. They have a large selection of beautiful dressses, and they could not have been nicer. I only ordered 2 weeks ago, and the dress will be in the first week of June. I went to several other shops before being told about Bonaventure by a co-worker, and I was not impressed by the selection of dresses, or by the attitudes I found at some of the other shops. Good Luck. Let me know if you need any more info. The phone number for Bonaventure is (516) 741-1080. There prices were very reasonable.

If you are looking for the best selection, Kleinfeld is the best. Not only do they have any gown shown in the bridal magazines, they also have exclusive designs for Kleinfeld only from major designers. You have to make an appointment, there are NO walk-ins. They have a website to contact them and make an appointment. I think it is www.kleinfeldbridal.com.(not sure)

Whatever you do, avoid Commack Wedding Center. I had big problems with them and other brides had problems too.. Davids would be good for an off-the-rack dress.. Estelles has limited selection.. You might luck out with a smaller shop..especially if you find a dress you like!
