I saw some brides doing bagels and jam and giving them to guests as they leave any other ideas besides bagels? and any wording to go along with it???

oh thats a cute idea!! Is that as well as the favors?? like a going home snack?? I am giving the guests the boxes to take home pastries from the venitian hour. Is that considered the same?

I've only seen the bagels and then people have added the paper in the abg as well depending on the time that the reception is over.

yeah i have cake pops for each guest at their setting and then a favor for each couple or single...
this was an extra extra ,lol... i think the bagels might be it then.... i know a girl did mini waters and cookies but i have trays of cookies, pastries and chocolate covered strawberries....

My mother and I were thinking about baking cookies or pound cake for the OOT bags. Anything edible is always a hit

Yea I've seen bagels and muffins or donuts with coffee to go when parties are ending at like 1am so that its almost like a mini breakfast for them. I would maybe order small paper bags with your names and the date on it. Or think of something clever which I can't think of right now lol.

We are doing a pretzel cart for when the guest leave. It is something offered by our reception hall. Just like NYC carts lol. Its at an additional cost though. I think $2 a person.
I do know they offered some other options though like, ice cream sundaes in hat cups, choc covered strawberries, roses for females and a couple other ones I can't remember off the top of my head.

haha definitely a Lessing's thing!! My FH is like 'I want pretzels, I love pretzels' he cracked me up lol...how could I say no to that lol

if it helps...you can put plain paper bags through the printer! if you have a monogram, phrase, or just a little image you can throw them on the bags and then fill with bagels - which i think is an AWESOME idea. who doesn't love a bagel?

OH!! I didn't realize that haha. Then just grab any bag and throw a sticker on it or a stamp with your new last initial. They're going to be thrown out anyway so I wouldn't worry so much about the bag but the bagel idea is great.
