3 of them like the shoes they are wearing and 3 of them hate them. I mean HATE. The dresses are tea length so the shoes are very visible and I don't want people wearing ugly shoes.
I didn't think they were ugly but now I am second guessing myself.
The dress is a sage green and the shoes are a light gold. the 3 bm's that don't like the shoes say sage does not go with gold. I disagree.
I know it comes down to my decision but I don't want people to be wearing ugly shoes. What do you guys think?
I think they're very pretty and they definitely match!

Sage and gold definately go. Most metallics are considered neutrals in shoes so I say go for it!

the shoes are a very similar color to the background in that photo....they wouldn't photograph a dress with a background that clashed with it.
It definitly matches and the shoes are cute.

The shoes do match, but they aren't my taste either......a friend of mine wore the same dress when she was in a bridal party also in the color pictured and all the BM's wore strappy silver heels. it looked really good.

I must agree! I had the exact same problem!!! You must also remember, there are girls w/ wide feet and these shoes may not suit them. Give them guidelines, maybe specifics in terms of color, rhinestones or not...heel height...etc. They'll be happy and so will you! I know you probably want uniformity, I don't blame you, but you will always have someone complaint. Like I said, talk to them, give them options, hopefully that will work.

I think they match very well. The shoes are not my taste either, but if I was in the party I would wear what the bride wanted, no questions asked!

my girls wore pale pink tea length and i wanted them to all have the same shoes dyed to match the dress...so i ended up buying their shoes as part of their gifts. i got married in july so i also got them flip flops from old navy to match the dress. they wored the shoes for pics and the ceremony, and then the flip flops came on for the rest of the night.
if you want the shoes to match for pics i say stick with the shoes you picked out and buy them matching flip flops for after pics and ceremony. i bet you can find cheap flip flops you match at old navy. they can handle wearing shoes they don't like for a little while. i had the same concerns with tea length because the shoes are so visible and it was easier it they all had the same shoe because the hem was measured from the floor up to the same heaight for each girl.
