HELP!! Need some ideas (Engagement party)

My engagement party is this Friday at the Fox Hollow.. I'd like to informally introduce my bridal party so everyone knows who they are and they feel special..

any ideas??

also, you think it would be much to have boutinierres/corsages for them? or any ideas on giving them a little something.. I'd like them to know how much I love them and happy that they are in my bridal party..

Hi: Our engagement party is in October and we were thinking of just having the DJ announce them and then we'd say a thank you toast to them. As far as corsages and bouts, I was wondering the same thing. We're going to get them for our moms, grandma and aunts, but we're not sure about the BP. Good Luck and have fun on Friday!!

Hmmm, I'm stumped on the introductions part, but I think boutonnieres for the men would be nice and how about small bouqets for the women? Just tie some ribbon around the stems and the girls can put them in a vase when they get home! (that way they get more than one night out of the flowers.)

Have the DJ roast them! Come up with some quick & funny blurbs based on hobbies, interests, past mishaps etc.; Things that you and your fiance know.

Your guests will be sure to remember them!

Congrats BTW on booking a place. I looked at the Bourne Mansion and LOVED it.. it's beautiful.. We've been holding off until after the EP to book a place.. so I'm excited!

I fell in love with the Bourne Mansion as soon as I walked in. Kevin and I had been going back and forth with things like renting a house out in the hamptons, museums, vineyards, to even our backyard, but my fear was the weather. I didn't want to spend that kind of money and have a washout. (I didn't even bother to look at Oheka, based on the fact it would be too small for the reception.)

hehe.. soo true.. The weather is a BIG factor esp. in the months of Sept. or Oct.. you can have one extreme or another.. The Oheka is really beautiful but it's too **** small! lol

Marcella I actualy wrote in another post but thought I would ask on this thread as well on e-party. What else are you doing besides introducing the bridal party? The coursages and boutinierres (sp?) idea sounds really nice. My e-party isn't for sometime but I have to start planning it really soon.
