Help-- Need to figure out what 'adults' get invited to the shower??
Ok-- so I need to get a list to my mother- and I need some help--
- I know which of my friends should be invited obviously
- My mom will invite her friends- she is throwing the shower
- My FMIL knows who she will be inviting
Now, here's the problem-- which of my dad's friends get invited? My parents are divorced and my dad has been with his girlfriend for 7 years- some of their friends know me, some don't. Should my dad just pick a few close women friends to invite- or is that weird??
What do you guys think? Please help!

I think that it is perfectly OK for your dad to pick a few close friends that he truly feels should be invited.

If they are invited to the wedding and it won't cause conflict with your mom, why not? Sounds good to me!

I don't think you would put anyone on the list if you thought they would think its weird to be invited... don't worry
it's just different- if my parents were married- it would my mom's friends basically.. and she will be there.. It is basically like having a few of my dad's gf's friends there so she has people to hang out with.. I mean, it's like less than 5 people including her..
Just wanted to get some opinions..

there will be no one that will be uncomfortable-- my parents have been divorced for like 18 years..
Yes- small groups of women-- we never do quite grow out of that!
