Help Needed

My fiance and I finally decided on a theme for our engagement party.....Night in NYC. Does anyone have any ideas for this theme ? WE were thinking of setting up food stations for Little Italy and Chinatown. Any ideas would be great. We are running out of time...any help would be great.

P.S. Our wedding theme is travel. Any ideas for that would be great too.

how bout if you try to incorporate some drinks into it named after maybe some parts iof the world or some staes since it travel here are a few i came up with

1. long island iced tea

2. alabama slammer

3. the manhattan

4. bahama mama

if you google it im sure you can find drinks named after diferent states and countries. and maybe an ice sculpture carved into the statue of liberty or a manument from you favorite country. i dunno just an idea

For the Manhattan theme try table names like Theater District, Hell's Kitchen, Alphabet City, etc.
I saw a show with a school prom that had a City Skyline cutout the length of the room and they put lights behind it. It was really nice.

For the wedding theme tables names could be countries or landmarks around the world.

We are naming our tables after countries or places we have been to together and including pictures we took there. One other idea we had was to name the tables after the places we are going on our honeymoon since we are going on a cruise. You could also give out favors that have to do with travel such as these luggage tags.
