A close friend of mine is getting married tomorrow. She is having candle centerpieces because she couldn't really afford to go the flower route. My friends and I are setting up the ceremony area for her and I thought it would be a really nice surprise to atleast have red rose petals as her aisle runner. Anyoneknow anything about taking the petals off of roses? I have a place by me that sells 2 dozen roses for only $14.99. Would it take me forever to pull the petals off? Anyone know the best way to do it?

Why don't you get the fake rose petals. They sell them in Walmart for like $5.00 a box and IMO they look just as nice as real ones.

I have done thing before- if they are closed - it is usually easy to pull them off in one piece. If they are opened up completely then it takes a bit more time.
BTW I think that is really sweet of you for doing that for her.

Thats really n ice of you why dont you go to a local florist. I dont remember it being to hard when I did it. You can always go to ac moore or micheals and get fakes too.
