Help Needed With Tuxedo's

Help Needed With Tuxedo's

Is a tux simply a tux? I mean we want our guys to look good but where do you draw the line?

We went to a great tux place that had a lot of choices but was a little on the pricey side. Then yesterday we went to Men's Wearhouse which I wasn't all to impressed with (I will say the service was better than I expected). They only had two samples which are their 'flagship tuxes' and truth be told they just didn't look nice. Other than that you had to choose a tux from the catalogue, get the measurements taken and pick up two days before the wedding. If you don't like it when you get it basically you are SOL if you know what I mean.

FH is 'fiscally cautious' ok cheap and I tend to spend money like it's growing on trees which isn't good either.

My question is would you be ok having your GM's and FH paying $30-$50 more to ensure you are getting a great tux?

HELP!!!
TIA

Try Rogers tuxedo. They have a lot of choices for FH, and if you have 6 gm, FH tux is free. I think the tuxed came out to $150ish.

They are very helpful there, and there are several locations.

Absolutely Brit,
I see nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, I would say go for it. We used Tuxedo Park and they were a little more pricey, but they have a much nicer selection and the service was great.

At my brother's wedding in June, they used a less expensive tux place and all the tuxes were wrong, all of them. They all had to go back the day of and get have things changed, it was a nightmare.

Thanks girls! I agree...and extra $30 or so to pay per guy is a small price to pay for peace of mind

Pay the extra $$, for peace of mind and to get what you want, it's soooo worth it!

I agree - we found them very helpful and the prices were good.
