HELP! number of invites to order....

i just looked at the list and determined i currently need 92 invites(including 2 for myself)....there is a big jmp in price between ordering 100 verses 125(like $275 verses $375)...

do i order the extras so i have them, but possibly be stuck with ALOT extra)??

or do I order the 100 and if we need extras I'll make them myself(with Vellum and the floral paper)

I would play it safe and order 125. You never know if some get screwed up, and you want to make sure you have one left for yourself.

Just my opinion...


PS We have the same wedding date! Cool! =)

Do you have a B-list of invites? Is your list set in stone? Are your parents of In-laws the type to add to your list? What if invites get lost or get returned to you? You may want to send out new ones. Also what about your envelopes - are you printing yourself? On the computer?

We ordered the extra invites and I'm glad we did.

I ordered a lot extra.... I just want to make sure that I have plenty on hand. I will be addressing them myself and I know I'm not perfect.

On the flip side...

I had 112 invites to send out...I was told not to do the 125, but to do 150...

Well, let me tell you that other than 3 or 4 more that were sent out, I wasted a lot of $$ on the extras. What do you do with 30+ extra invites?

Tough decision. If it's a $$ issue and you feel confident that 100 will be enough, I'd say order 100.
