ok so FH wants square plates for everyday so we pickes the second picture which is called Avocado ... however when i came accross the Mikasa chocolate swirl and i think its really pretty but not as big of a plate as the avocado and $20 more for each set of 4 settings ... please help me choose TIA!

I like the second because I think the first would make guests that are good enough for everyday but not good enough for real china feel nervous with them as if theyre your real china.

I love the chocolate swirl but they look almost a little too delicate for every day.... are they sturdy?
I know I've broken quite a few dishes. I think I end up getting a new set of every day dishes about every 3-4 years.
