Help! Placecards....

Help! Placecards....

Hey guys,

If anybody read my DIY posts, you know I have a unusual theme, 'Navigating by the Stars' an old world, astronomy & explorer theme.

I made up a very rough sample placecard idea as shown in my album, http://liweddings.com/community/album/?ID=25315&SID=0&P=323710

But I also saw a really cool idea using compasses as dual placecard/favors.

I haven't picked out a favor yet, so that could be good for #2, but I wonder what will ppl really need a compass for? Will they just trash it?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I like the compasses! I think its so unique and the guests will love it. Even if they don't use them, they can always remember your wedding by how creative you were.

That has to be one of the most original ideas I have seen out there yet. I say go for the compass

I love the compass Idea... my FH and I would love to get one of those as a placecard setting.

I think the compass idea is so unique and special- that will be a great photo for you as well

guests will appreciate it even if it's not used all the time, it's still special :o)

i actually think ppl will use the compass. i know i have a co-worker who always mentions that he wishes he had a compass. lol. i thought that was odd, until i saw my friend had a compass watch that she used too! anyway, i think do the compass!!!!

The compass idea is one of the most unique placecard ideas I ever saw....go for it!!! Like a PP said, even if they don't use it, guests will remember you and your wedding by how creative you were!!
