I am looking to get married in June or September 2006 - I am looking for a place in Long Island. So far I have looked at THe Carltun, this weekend I am looking at Lands End The Bourne Mansion, Cresent Beach house, --- ANy other places I might have missed.. Please advise.. Thanks Tracie

In that range, you may want to try Oheka Castle. It may be a bit pricier though.
Carlyle on the Green is beautiful too.

Long Island is kinda big...is there a particular feature you are looking for?
you mention serveral great but different places. Water view, golf course...etc...

You should look at Atlantica, I think it's in West Hampton. We saw it and loved it, it was to be honest, a bit out of our budget...but we wanted a Sat. night wedding. I think if you are open to an afternoon or Fri/Sun wedding the prices are reasonable

If you are looking on the water, you might like Atlantica in Westhampton Beach. Personally, I love Land's End Atlantica was just a bit too far east for us (and our guests!). Also I thought Gurney's Inn looks nice, but that is WAY too far east (Montauk) - not sure about the service/food there though....
