Hello! My fiance' and i recently found that we are on an even tighter budget than we were before. I was hoping some of you guys could help me look for a reasonably priced hall. If anyone has any experiences or suggestions. we are having the wedding on a friday night in March. i really appreciate it.

We are doing ours at the Swan Club, they were VERY reasonably priced.. you might want to give them a call... also, maybe there are other ways to cut back.. a red single rose at the tables for the centerpiece.. a four hour party intead of 5..look into airport stlye cars instead of limos.. do your own invitations.. etc.. good luck! We are on a pretty tight budget too, so I know kinda how you feel! :-) Long Island weddings are not cheap!

In addition to what the other ladies have posted, I've also heard that the Holiday Inn in Plainview or one of those towns out there does a really nice all inclusive wedding for people on a tight budget. It's supposed to be very nice. Good luck!

try Smithtown Landing, I think you can find them under lessings.com or The Meadow Club..they were the most reasonable by far when I was looking around for a hall.

Most places will be more reasonable on a Friday evening in March, than a Saturday in June, so right off the bat, you are in good shape. I would try WoodburyCC or Fox Hollow or Crest Hollow CC. They might offer reasonable packages. Also try this site: http://www.weddingfacilitiesandservices.com/TEMPLATE/FrontEnd/StartPage.cfm Good luck!

I am getting married at Stewart Manor Country Club in Garden City. They are reasonably priced (we're on a very tight budget as well), and the best part is you are the only wedding. They include the centerpieces as well!! And the food is great...good luck and keep us posted.

We are having it at the Huntington townhouse. I wasn't thrilled at first but then I saw the rooms on the second floor and they are elegant. They have a special for less then $40 pp. I know it sounds kinda outdated but it was so affordable(We are probably on the tightest budget also) but take a look.
