located in port jefferson, one wedding at a time, house-like facility, huge deck in the back, big pond/lake/channel. reception room is like one long room w/ bar and dance floor located on one end. cocktail hour in either a stand only room w/ a bar or outside on a deck or enclosed sunroom.
any ideas? it's not dansford or pjcc. i am totally drawing a blank.
Old Field Club? Your description sounds like where we had our wedding!

I think its sounds like the Old Field Club. I got married at the Three Village Inn and while it has some of the things mentioned it doesn't have a sunroom. The Three Village Inn was awesome though. We are still getting compliments on our wedding.

I posted a ton after our wedding last Fall. You can do a search under my name, I think I posted them towards the end of Oct last year. I'll try and post a few here though.
We LOVED OFC but I know they're really pricey now....we booked in early 2001 and also knew someone to get us a discount, but they've really shot up since then.
Another drawback is the size - by LI standards we had a small wedding (114 pp) and it was a perfect fit. Although they say otherwise, I wouldn't want to squeeze more than 160 or so in the hall.
All in all though, I'd recommend them to anyone - we were so happy with everything and the place was simply beautiful!
