I'd like to print menus on my home printer using Stardream Cardstock. Does anyone know if cardstock can run through a regular printer? Can the cardstock bend like that? Please advise!!!!

Re: Help Please!! Printing on Cardstock Question
is it thick? I used regular cardstock in my printer here at work and it was fine.

Re: Help Please!! Printing on Cardstock Question
I've printed on cardstock, but not super heavy cardstock, like the weight that you buy in bulk from like staples or something. That was fine. Stardream is pretty thick though, that's what I used for my program covers, and honestly I don't think it would go through my printer. Maybe try one sheet as a test? Worst case scenario you can print on metallic printing paper and mount it to the cardstock.

Re: Help Please!! Printing on Cardstock Question
I printed 110# cardstock on my regular printer at home. I used the star dream as well for my programs and it worked fine.

I tried printing the heavy cardstock at home and it jammed in my printer. The other thing you have to be aware of is the ink possibly running. HTH

Re: Help Please!! Printing on Cardstock Question
I printed on cardstock at home with my laser printer and it worked just fine. There's a setting in the print settings in word for the type of paper and you should set that to match the thickness of whatever paper you're printing on (whether it's card stock or resume paper or what) and it helps the printer know how to handle it.
I have a ton of cardstock left over and even printed some resumes on some just because recently.
(It's kinda like... you can't ignore my resume! Unable to crumple and trash!)
