i kind of forgot to get my BM dress fixed to fit me for my bros wedding thats in 11 days. come to think of it, i forgot to buy shoes,too. oooopsie.

so ladies PLEASEE recommend your alteration person. ty soo much in advance

I got a bridesmaid dress altered in NYC, and was really happy with the results. It was a dress with cutouts and I made it more streamlined and also took it in some. FM if you need details. Since sometimes it may not be easy to come into NYC. HTH.

Last time I needed alterations done for a dress, I just went to my dry cleaner - Swan Cleaners in Amityville. They did a great job and it was less than 1/2 the price the place where I got it from wanted for alterations!

I use Rosie's Tailoring in Centereach, and FH's family uses Gina in Deer Park, both of which I know are of no real help for you unless you feel like taking a field trip.

I went to a great alterations place in Garden City on Nassau Blvd. It's called Georgia's I think.
I sent a friend there also and she was really happy with everything as well.

ill be in the area tomorrow.. fh is dragging me to microcenter.... so im going to drag him to do wedding relating things ( not sure what yet, i jsut feel like being a bish olol )
