Hoping you could help me out yet again! I would love to book a steel drum band for my cocktail hour as a surprise for my fiance. I know he would just love it! I had asked the same question a few weeks ago. I was given Jah Pan, Steel Sensations, Ad lib, and Island Mystic. I love the referrals, but I would like to know who used who and what they really thought. Does any one have personal recommendations. I would love to know too. I need these soon. Thanks!

Wow, that's right. It is coming very soon. I live in Florida and am trying to get things together from down here. I havent lived on the Island for over 6 years now, so I am kind of out of the loop. I would appreciate anything on the up and up. Good luck to you too!

I have found quotes on steel drum bands from $600 to $1200 for 2 - 3 pp for 1 hour. Can anyone give a legitamate price that is reasonable and has a real reputation. Anyone with personal experience out ther??????

CLM recommends the following, however, we aren't using them. I've seen something with them once (although I can't recall what) and they seemed really good. HTH

I'm using a steel drum band through Fan Fare Brass. FM me for info. I'll let you know on Saturday how it turns out.

I used a steel drum duo through Stan Wiest and paid 900. They were AWESOME.
